Job Description We are looking for a male support worker to work as a 1-1 staff with a gentleman with learning disabilities and Autism, for this delivery of personal care the service user is only comfortable with/accepts a carer of the same sex (this is a genuine occupational requirement)
Roles
The support worker will be supporting this gentleman to access community activities. 1. Male only
2. Experience with working with learning disabilities and has relevant training in autism.
3. Car driver and would be willing to take the Council Driving test Assist clients in all aspects of personal care Bathing, moving, toileting (dealing with incontinence) personal hygiene, and feeding Help clients develop their skills, through use of Life Plans and individual programmes. Assist clients in developing links with the local community through the use of local services
